Rider Appeal 4 Leukaemia - Simon Lees
Simon Lees is taking part in the Weston Beach Race on 21st October 2007. He is raising money for Leukaemia Research, and has set his sponsorship target at £1000, but doesn't want to reach it - he wants to smash it!!! He has created a website - www.riderappeal4leukaemia.webeden.co.uk - to try and raise more sponsor money and has also designed a race shirt which is being signed by many famous people from the motobike world like brad anderson, james noble, mike brown and hopefully valentino rossi, casey stoner, john mcguiness and many more. This shirt will then be auctioned or raffled off to raise even more money. Simon is raising money for Leukaemia Research because a member of his family has recently been diagnosed with a very rare form of the disease and he wants to raise more awareness of it - did you know 1 in every 3 people will suffer from some form of cancer?!
